Delta strong hand

When it comes to lavish specifications, Chrysler’s new Delta holds all the aces. This dramatically designed family hatchback has been comprehensively appointed to set it apart from its more basic competitors, and that process starts with its construction materials. Leather and Alcantara form recurring themes in the Delta’s cabin, with premium textiles deployed alongside heavily damped handles and lashings of chrome.

In terms of safety, the Delta wants for nothing, from daytime running lights to six airbags and stability control.

Torque is electronically regulated to maximise grip and handling, while brakeforce distribution and a hill-hold system come as standard across the range. More visible technological deployments on flagship Limited models include big-car features like automatic headlights, a navigation system and Bluetooth.

It’s also worth noting some of the Delta’s more unusual features like reclining rear seats and a fridge compartment, underlining this car’s luxurious credentials.
