i30 prepares for launch

In one month’s time, the all-new Hyundai i30 will be arriving on our roads. Priced from £14,495, the latest generation of Hyundai’s original i-car will feature an outstanding array of equipment and safety aids, all packaged within a smartly styled five-door hatchback body.

Powered by an efficient array of petrol and diesel engines, the i30 will be able to squeeze under the psychologically important 100g/km CO2 threshold, with the 1.6-litre CRDi model capable of delivering over 76mpg, thanks to Hyundai’s Blue Drive technology.

Space and practicality are up to the usual standards expected of Hyundai, but it’s in terms of specification that the i30 really excels. Four trim levels will be available – Classic, Active, Style and Style Nav – with the latter incorporating luxurious features like a touchscreen satellite navigation system and rear view parking camera, dual-zone climate control, hill-start assistance and automatic lights and wipers.
