It’s fitting, therefore, that this go-anywhere mud-plugger has been honoured by one of the car industry’s most authoritative publications, Total 4×4 magazine. They have named the Sorento as their favourite SUV for the second year running – a fitting honour for Kia’s flagship model.
The Sorento impressed the Total 4×4 judges with its unique blend of off-road expertise and on-road sophistication, and during the course of 2011, nothing managed to usurp it as a leader of the SUV 4×4 sector.
The magazine’s editorial team cited the Sorento’s style, poise, kit and practicality as crucial factors in helping it to retain its crown as the Total 4×4 SUV of the Year, ahead of far more expensive rivals.
