Grand designs for Suzuki

With a lineage dating back to 1988, the Grand Vitara is one of Suzuki’s more enduring models, and its appeal has just been brought bang up to date with the launch of a special edition model – the SZ-T.

With just 500 versions of this limited-edition off-roader available, the SZ-T will feature a unique enhanced specification over the five door 1.9DDiS model it’s based on.

Outside, distinguishing features include metallic paint, silver roof rails and 18-inch alloy wheels. Bonnet vents and a new grille hint at the presence of the SZ-T’s 1.9-litre engine, which can deliver over 41mpg, as well as providing plentiful low-down torque for off-road work or towing.

The unique touches continue internally, with contrasting seat fabric, cruise control and keyless entry and start included alongside the secret of the Grand Vitara’s legendary off-road prowess – a switchable low/high-ratio four-wheel drive system.
