Did you know you can use the “My Forecourt” feature on our used car search to save your favourite used cars to view at a later date, or to compare the prices and other pieces of key information? This article will take you through the simple process so you can make the most of the John Martin Group website.
Step 1 – Search for used cars
Very simple – head to the used cars section and either browse through the main list of cars you see on the page (which shows recently added cars first), or refine your selection by using the options on the left hand side of the screen.
Click on “view results” to see what great used cars we have in stock just now.
Step 2 – Have a look through your results
See anything that takes your fancy? The John Martin Group has a wide selection of used cars available in our showrooms across Scotland – Edinburgh, Wallyford, Selkirk, Kemnay and Glasgow. Step 3 – Add your favourite cars to “My Forecourt”
This button will appear on all used car search results. Click it to save the car to "My Forecourt".
Each used car listing has a button on the right hand side that allows you to add the car to “My Forecourt” – clicking it will make the car appear in the “My Forecourt” area on the left hand side of the site.
This will save the car to your own personal forecourt, where you can compare different cars.
Step 4 – Save your selections
If you would like to come back to the site at a later date and view your selections again, then you need to save them. Do this by clicking on the”save cars” link and filling out your details.
When you come back to the site, simply click the “retrieve cars” link, enter your email address and your saved cars will be loaded.
Step 5 – Compare your saved cars
This is the bit you’ve been waiting for! With so much choice across Scotland, refining your options to a handful of great used cars will help you see a side by side comparison of your choices.
Check the compare box on the right hand side, and then click the compare button at the top of the page to see all of your results side by side.
Then all you need to do is click the compare button at the top of the page and you’ll see all of your choices side by side.
